For those not in the know: The Wyrmwood is a possible petsite idea. It is still very, very, VERY much a work in progress.
Items will be displayed with two sizes: the inventory size and then the examine size.

Testing out possible ways to draw items. I feel iffy about it. Thoughts?

more concept art for my pet site project at the-wyrmwood! This design is much less cute, much more creepy. It’s a grimalkin, based off of, well, grimalkins. They were thought to be witch’s familiars, among other things! But still, I want to cuddle them. I chose a more sphynx-like body type for the grimalkin because I personally find it appealing, and I believe it works for the “creepy monster cat” thing.

And while I will eventually get to some non-standard “based off of real animals/mythology” pets, for now, you get selkies. Yes, the first pet is based off of Irish selkie folklore! While these selkies aren’t actually women in disguise (or seals who disguise themselves as women for that matter) I still think they’re great. And by great I mean cute. I just… I have a bunch of selkie drawings I may eventually post, despite them being on cruddy lined paper. I reeeeally like seals, man.
