And while I will eventually get to some non-standard “based off of real animals/mythology” pets, for now, you get selkies. Yes, the first pet is based off of Irish selkie folklore! Victoreas concept art, back. The markings are meant to be reminiscent of native art and space; either way they’re supposed to be impressive and awe-inspiring and I hope I conveyed that. The dots are random, the lines are not; I will probably do a much simpler version to illustrate this. Thankfully Vic usually wears clothing so this isn’t so much of a drawing issue.

Victoreas concept art, front - spring/summer coat and autumn/winter coats. There are some variations but these are the basics. Spring coat is a soft minty green, with warm grey fur; autumn coat is deep orange with cool grey fur. Her eyes are a vibrant green and her hair is a fiery red-orange.

Her face is round with a very short, round muzzle. Her nose is large and round. Her eyes are large and usually fully open. Round is honestly a good way to describe her. She is very fat with an apple body shape, with large breasts, thick hips and a voluptuous belly.

Vic trims her fur when it’s warm to keep cool, and during the cooler times of the year she’ll let it grow out. She enjoys having fluff. Her tail is long and prehensile; she’ll use it for day-to-day activities such as opening doors or picking small objects up. She has a small pouch. On occasion she will use her pouch to carry around small objects, but usually she won’t as it feels weird. Her hooves are large as are her claws. These and her horns are made of keratin with identical coloration and texture. Vic takes great care in maintaining healthy hooves and claws as well as keeping her fur neat, tidy, and soft, and her hair likewise.

Also of note are her unusual ears - they are large, floppy, and expressive, with two tragi each. The tips of her ears and her tragi will curl when she experiences intense emotion. They are soft to the touch, like velveteen.
